Skills for Life

Shropshire Severn and Teme Scout District provides over 900 young people with the opportunities to develop skills for life and supported by our valued volunteers.

Welcome to Shropshire Severn and Teme

Through the Scout programme young people become more resilient, confident and more compelled to take some responsibility for their communities.

Whether it’s fire lighting on our campsites, canoeing on the River Severn, learning to navigate in the Shropshire Hills, or simply learning to make friends in one of our scout groups, we provide a fantastic district to Scout.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
